Scott Turpin is a Colorado licensed acupuncturist who began his training with an apprenticeship under Charlie Roach in Tucson, AZ, obtained his masters degree at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver and trained with Frank Butler and Tom Bisio of Zheng Gu Tui Na.
Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an ancient healing art which has been used in China for over 2000 years. Scott is also a certified TuiNa Massage Therapist. Strongly focused on overall well-being as a way to a better life, Scott uses a wide range of techniques to help clients who seek pain relief and guidance toward a more healthful lifestyle.
Treatments are often a combination of Acupuncture, Tui-Na massage, Moxibustion, Auricular acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Electro-stim, Qi Gong exercises and nutrition advice. Through acupuncture treatments, patient education, and patient-practitioner collaboration, Scott is able to help many to confidently achieve optimal health and well-being.
Scott completed an Associates Degree from Bakersfield College, Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Arizona University and a Masters Degree from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Scott’s life has been continually active and intense. He knows firsthand that a full life is one that also comes with occasional injury and illness. He continues to actively pursue balanced health, both for himself and his patients. Scott’s approach is preventative, holistic and individualized, using Traditional Chinese Medicine for health and wellness, to obtain the balance to optimally enjoy each day.
